Denitrification deep bed filter system and its operating principle:
 
The single function of the turbidity of the filter filter is transformed into a dual-function biological filter filter, and the single-cell completes the denitrification process and the filtration process, and aims to perform three-stage filtration on the secondary biological treatment effluent of the sewage treatment plant. This post-denitrification system can be called bio-remediation technology, which provides an effective measure for the effluent quality of the wastewater treatment plant. This is the denitrification deep-bed filter.
 
The composition of the denitrification deep bed filter mainly includes filter material, gravel layer, filter brick, seesaw, valve, backwash pump, instrument pipeline, control system, carbon source dosing system, etc., which have both filtering function and Biological nitrogen removal function. Among them, the filter material can filter and adsorb the denitrifying biological flora; the gravel layer can prevent the filter material from entering the water distribution system; the filter brick can distribute the backwashing gas; the seesaw can balance the influent and backwashing water; the valve is The water and gas components are controlled; the backwashing pump backwashes the filter material; the control system controls the equipment and components uniformly; the carbon source dosing system performs the carbon source dosage on the basis of analyzing the amount of nitrogen nitrate in the water. control.
 
The system operation principle of the denitrification deep bed filter is that after the effluent from the secondary settling tank enters the filter bed, the suspended solids are finally settled in the filter bed by means of sedimentation, filtration, interception, etc.; then they are discharged into the wastewater tank under backwashing, and filtered. The filtration performance of the layer is restored. In winter, due to lower temperatures, the rate of nitrification and denitrification will slow down. In order to solve the problem of insufficient carbon source, the filter will be converted into a denitrification filter by adding a carbon source. At this time, the operation of the denitrification filter, the filter layer is in anoxic state, and the denitrifying biological flora is attached to the surface. When the effluent passes through the filter layer, NO2 and NO3 in the sewage are adsorbed by the biofilm, and then reduced to N2, which is excluded from the sewage, and the process of denitrification and denitrification is realized. Moreover, the particulate filter material also has the effect of trapping the suspended matter.

Process introduction:

 
The PDNFTM process is shown in the figure. The operation of the denitrification filter includes: 1 filtration, 2 nitrogen purge, 3 backwashing.
 
1 filter:
 
Mode 1: Direct filtration, deep bed filter direct filtration mode operation, efficient removal of SS, simultaneous improvement of BOD, COD and other pollutant removal effects, to ensure that the water reaches the standard.
 
Mode 2: Micro-flocculation filtration, when the total phosphorus exceeds the standard, it is easy to adjust to run according to the micro-flocculation deep bed filter, effectively remove SS and total P, and ensure that the effluent water quality is up to standard.
 
Mode 3: Biochemical denitrification and denitrification, when the TN can not reach the standard, the carbon source is added to the denitrification filter to ensure that the effluent water quality is up to standard.
 
2 nitrogen drive:
 
Nitrogen is generated during the denitrification process, so that the filter produces a gas barrier. The gas accumulated in the filter layer can be released by a separate water backflush to ensure the operation of the filter.
 
3 backwashing:
 
After the process of air washing→gas/water combined backwashing→separate water washing, the backwashing is thorough, the effect is good, and the water volume is small.
